Stature Increase Progress with Lateral Synovial Joint Loading

Here's last weeks pictures: Bone Length Increase | Two Months Three Weeks In.  I'm trying to figure out how best to generate proof.  Getting a tattoo or marking myself with a marker wouldn't work because bone grows down from the hyaline cartilage growth plate line into the cortical bone so if I marked the epiphysis of the bone there wouldn't be any change unless my epiphysis got bigger(due to the same processes that make short and irregular bones bigger).  If I marked a part of my diaphysis then I would have the same measurement inaccuracies as before.  If I went into a doctor's office, I would have to gain a significant amount of height because height matters a lot on how much you're tilting your head when you get down to the inch level.  I can't scale measure using the pictures because I used different magnifications on the pictures, I also adjusted the picture so I got all of my shin bone into the picture.  So I'm going to have to keep working and keep working with people(I've talked to some people who I'm very confident are performing Lateral Synovial Joint Loading correctly).  Here's this weeks pictures:

  4. would marking work if you marked on the femur instead?

  5. hi i don't understand how it works.
-Could you make a video/tutorial wich explain how to do LSJL?
    thx

  6. But is simple, sit down on the floor with bent knee, put the foot on the floor and the tibia perpendicular to the floor, after measure the height of the knee... if you grow you see it immidiantly and without problem of vertebral discs... simple...

  7. yeap analyst thats wat i trying to put through countless times on previous posts. i felt that it is the only accurate way to measure shinbone growth. somehow, seems like tyler have doubts about the measurement method? got to hear his opinion

  8. I think the best way may be to take a page out of the Mythbusters playbook and create an oversized ruler of sorts, put your leg up against it, and take pictures *perpendicularly*, i.e. pointing straight down at the ruler. Take a photo at each end of the leg, and perhaps a third one from farther away encompassing the whole leg. Unfortunately given the angle of the photos you post, they seem just about useless.
I suppose if you're feeling creative, you could get some cheap photosensitive paper, sit directly under a ceiling light, put a strip of the paper under your leg, then turn the light on.

I'm doing LSJL. I'm marking my height on a sheet of paper I've taped securely to the wall, like a kid, when I wake up. There appears to be a height increase of significance. I made a few marks and all were higher than my previous one. I can't seem to make decent measurements of my leg though. I might try my own suggestions to track that. :)

  9. Btw I may have missed a mention of this but how often do you do the LSJL routine? And do you do the dumbbell version or just the machine version?

  10. Get a tattoo 3 inches ABOVE the knee.

  11. Jory, can you explain the method of LSJL in your words? Getting different perspectives on it might be a little helpful.

Also, would you mind telling us how old you are?

  13. I do LSJL 5 days a week. I do dumbell, machines, and tapping.

Don't have the money to buy the equipment needed to make a quality video.

I'm going to try Analyst's method. I understand what Jory's trying to say about taking pictures perpendicularly to the ruler. The way I did it, the distance between inch marks gets farther and farther away... I didn't think about that.

  14. im doing it 7 days a week..

im thinking of doing it for 1 week, then resting one week and then doing it again.. the resting week is for more stem cells in the marrow..

maybe even do 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off..

    what do you think?

  15. another method of measuring leg length only would be to check your inseam.
stand before a wall facing it. take a book and hold it with up or down side against the wall and with the back between your legs. then slide up until the book touches your crotch (make sure nothing is in the way...). then you can mark the point on the wall.
i think once you have this method down it's easy to achieve consistent and exact measurements with it.
the only "drawback" is that you measure upper and lower leg at the same time.

  16. Alex, although cycling has been shown to be very powerful I would only consider that if you're already getting results. I have a forced time off due to sickness right now so I'll be experimenting by that.

If you're not getting results try adding intense cardiovascular activity(like sprinting to induce hypoxia), try tapping the periosteum at the top of diaphysis to try to get progenitor cells into the growth plate, or increase the load or duration you use.

  17. I'm now doing 5 minutes at night per inner ankle with about 35 pounds (all I have). I also do 30 taps before I start loading, I wish I could do it afterwards as well, but that hurts way too much. I feel a very intense tingling sensation. I'm on my second day with my current LSJL routine (the older one wasn't done right). I'll let you know my results once they are significant.

  18. I`m doing LSJL for 2 weeks with about 60 pounds. so far...nothing but i do have some pain on my shinbone and on my ankles. no increase

  19. Buy the overall stature is still the same? If you measure it several times a day and mean and compare you have to see a steady growth...

However is to try, I would like to try it whit a clamp for woodparts similar to this http://www.faidatecasa.com/images/attrezzi/muratura/utensili/morsa-o-cagna.jpg do you think it could work?

    Sorry my bad english...

  20. What is this "Tapping" you're referring to?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Analyst - I've started to experiment with a couple of clamps I got at home depot. I'm finding it very difficult to keep them in the right place - I've found I have to hold them roughly in place manually with some force (torque), which produces a significant amount of pain, though it may be applying a good deal of lateral force.

I'm using a light (12 lb) dumbbell, loading for a minute at each location, and tapping five times at each location. I've been doing only tibia and fibula so far. I'm starting out light - if I don't see ongoing change, I will probably increase all these factors. I am however also, as I mentioned, starting to experiment with clamps to apply load, a minute at each location. I'm trying to do it with the dumbbell or clamps every day, though its working out to more like every other day.

    I'm 28. I stopped growing naturally at about 15.

  22. Tapping is explained in the side bar. You essentially tap the epiphysis of the bones you want to grow. I unfortunately have not had a chance to experiment with clamps.

I thought you were getting results Jory? Do you have before pictures ready?

  23. A clamps cost 10$... is not difficult...

  24. Yes Tyler I seem to be. I haven't put forth the effort necessary to make pictures worthwhile. So far I'm just marking my height from time to time when I wake up. If it would be useful to people, I can go ahead and make paper rulers for my legs and head and take pictures in the manner I suggested earlier. My camera is broken at the moment unfortunately so I'd have to use my cell.
